| i think i may have a social disorder? im not ugly or nerdy,im nervous around people, i really hate hanging out with groups of friends that is more than 4 people,i tend to want to stay home when friends ask if i want to go to the movies or something,im sorta like someone whos on the outside looking in,i like observing others actions,i mainly just hang out at school with friends because thats the social norm.is there somthing wrong with me?      |

| i think i may have a social disorder? You may suffer from social anxiety disorder .... which is highly treatable with meds that have few side effects. If it bothers you ... why not have it checked out with a counselor? If you are fine with who you are and there are many teens just like you, then accept your uniqueness and get on with the business of life. |

| i think i may have a social disorder? Dude, don't worry about it. I am like the exact same way with people! I don't like big crowds! I would rather stay home, than hang out at a big party! That's just who I am! I think I like small groups because it gives me the chance to speak my mind I guess, and that everyone will hear what I'm saying. There's nothing wrong with you or me! That's just how our minds work! If people don't like that and can't accept you for who you are, that is definitely THEIR problem, NOT yours!Hope this helps!-Frequenxy |

| i think i may have a social disorder? I love how psychiatrists make up disorders because there's something "wrong". There's nothing wrong with you. I was like that when I was young too, but my willpower changed me and now I'm an open going guy. |

| i think i may have a social disorder? Is there something wrong? Only you can answer that. If you are ok with the way you are...if it is not affecting your life in any majoy way...then you are just fine. Everyone is different. Some people are simply more sociable than others...no big deal. But if this is causing you suffering. If you are upset about the way you are...or if you want to be different...then you may have a problem and may need help. Remember, don't be afraid to ask for help. Your school counsellor is your best choice. Talk to her/him about it and see where that takes you. All the best! |
