is it a fundamental religious right to home school. ? can you prove it in the bible?

or do you have to rely on U.S. history to prove what california is doing is unconstitutional?

It is an individual right to home school your own children if you choose.
Religion does not even matter.

I don't think the state has a fundamental right to teach our children. If the children learn the curriculum, why ought the state to care how they learned it?

I don't quite understand the question but I live in Vermont and know many parents who decided to home school and none of them are traditionally religious. They took a look at the school systems available and decided it was better the home school. Also, some families live in remote areas where it can be difficult to get children to school especially during winter and 'mud season'. I do trust these parents decisions and all of the kids are really great kids. I don't know if this helps but this is what I know from my own experience.
