Should the recent California Appeals Judge home school ruling be overturned ?

On Feb. 28, California Judge H. Walter Croskey of the Second District Court of Appeals ruled that parents cannot home school their kids unless they have a teaching degree. This instantly made 200,000 children truient and their parents criminals: "... Furthermore, the judge wrote, if instructors teach without credentials they will be subject to criminal action."

Journalists (he says with disgust). The San Diego Union-Tribune had a COMPLETELY different interpretation of what the ruling meant. No clue who's right.
