this is geek in need , i would really like to do home school but my parents

don't want me to what do u think i really really want to do home school but my mom is afraid i will become a social outcast or i wont be a functioning member of society or something like that please tell me what you think

Also, find homeschool groups in your area and put together of list of activities they do, as well as social activities outside that you could do.

ive just started to be homechooled last year, i was afraid of being of a social zero, but im not. im noticed im more social then when i was at school (and i can tell u i was VERY social at school)
u get to meet heaps of people as well thro homeschooling. the trick is to stay in touch with ur friends. ther is really no way to force ur parents, just show them the benefiets of homeschooling. some schools will let homeschoolers come to school for a few classes during the week. so basicly, research!
