| Math homework help!!! grade 8 math!!!! its due on monday please help!!? 1.) Eileen used to be on the phone 3 1/2 times as much as her sister every day. As a New Year's resolution, she decided to cut down to about 2/5 of the time she used to be on the phone. About how many times as much as her sister is Eileen now on the phone? 2.) Pia used 2/3 of her sugar to make 3/4 of a batch of cookies. How much of her sugar would she need to make the whole batch? PLEASE SHOW HOW U GOT THE ANSWER! PLEASE!      |

| 3 1/2 * 2/5 = 7/2 * 2/5 = 7/5 = 1 2/5ths as much as Eileen (this is NOT 12/5 its 1 and 2/5) (2/3) / (3/4) = (2/3) * (4/3) = 8/9ths of her sugar would be needed to make the whole batch |
