1 calculate the radius of the wheel to the first decimal place

2 if the wheel turns 1000circles, how far does it travel?

Can't see why you can't work this out your self.

Area of wheel = 4400 cm^2

Area of Circle = pi * radius^2

Since the wheel is a circle:

pi * radius^2 = 4400 cm^2

sqrt(4400 / pi) = radius

Part 2:

2*pi*radius = circumference

1000 * circumference = distance travelled
