YES I HAVE READ the book. It is very sad.

but that is not the point. We have an assighnment to find 5 examples of the following topics and highlight them.

1. Ignorance breeds hate
2. desparate people will do anything to survive
3.Questioning one's faith during difficult times
4. you are more capable than you think.

I have found:
1. 3 examples
2. completed (all 5 )
3. 4 examples
4. 2 examples

I am not asking you to do my asignment for me, but i would like a part(s) of the book you think may have shown one or more the themes.
Because I have looked through the book like a million times and cannot find anymore. I(Me, not you), will find the page # myself. Because that is a waste of your time.

All answers are apreciated.. Please do not lecture, i am working really hard, i am not being lazy. I am asking for help not exactly answers.

for number 2: when they're on the train and then the guards throw in bread and then a man is holding his chest bc he has bread and then the mans son attacks him for it.

also for number 2: they were eating snow off the ground when they were marching to the camp

for number 3: elie dosent want to pray because they're in such a terrible situation and he feels theres no god

I read that book a couple years ago, I remember those topics in it but not any examples come to mind. Sorry =/ I wish I could help.

I remember he is skeptic of his faith when he is standing inches before the furnace, and he is more "capable thane thinks" when they have to run for miles and miles (42, was it?) You most likely have these,but just in case!
