havind an unhealthy diet, though this does not mean eliminating all "bad foods". Foods high in salt, sugar or articficial preservatives should only be eaten sporadically. Ready made meals or foods made from packets should not replace a balanced diet. Negative eating habits can include eating junk food, eating large quantites of food (i.e. eating after your hunger has been satusfied), skipping meals and having no variety in the types of meals eaten (eg. although red meat is good for you it is not reccomended that it is eaten at every meal). eating with your mouth open (rude and it gets air in stomach) swallowing without chewing not washing hands first not eating fruits or vegetables only eating food with refined sugar only eating processed foods not getting enough roughage. |
