To all parents, do NOT hit your children?

I was spanked as a child and it is definitely the main reason why I chose NOT to spank my own children. I know my parents love me but when they spanked me I felt unloved, rejected, embarrassed and humiliated. To think ANY child would feel any different just doesn't cut it with me.

Just because you had a hard time growing up,doesn't mean everyone who gets "hit" does.Nor does it give you the right to tell parents what to do with their children.You sound like you were abused not spanked.There is a big difference.I was spanked.I do not regret it in the least.I was taught manners & to follow the rules or there would be consequences.I will use the method with my children when needed regardless of what others think of me.I do think you nned to grow up & quit calling people names.You sound like you are 6 years old or something.
