Can someone explain the difference between an angle measuring 34 radians and one measuring 34 degrees?

Well, π radians is 180 degrees, so 34 radians is about 1948 degrees which is the same as 148 degrees.

radians and degrees are two different measurments of angles like metres and yards as said before 3.14159265358rads = 180°

radians are either in decimal form or fractional form containing pi 34 degrees converted to radians is 17pi/90 however if your using 3.14 it would be 53.38/90 do u understand
