| I am stuck on my math homework. Someone help please?
Ok. We are doing the adding equations thing.
Here is what I'm trying to figure out. This is the part I can't seem to figure out.
4x + 5y = 15
+ 6x - 4y = 11
So Im guessing you know that you need to cancel one of those out. The only way you can cancel the x or the y is if you muliply one of the equations by a certain number.
How do I figure out what to multiply by?
I've tried things, but it isn't working. Please give me some examples and an explanation on how to get the correct multiplication for one equation.
I am also stuck on this one.
10x + 8y = 2
8x + 6y = 1
