| Geometry homework help (triangles)?
In triangle ABC, the length of side BC is 2 inches and the length of side AC is 10 inches. What is one possible length of side AB, in inches? I have no clue what-so-ever how to do this. I would use the Pythagorean Theorem but this is not a right triangle. I also have this problem : The lengths of two sides of a triangle are 12 and 2 respectively. What is one possible length of the third side? Can someone please explain how to figure these out? |
