| how long does it take to heal an ACL injury?? i was diagnosed yesterday with an ACL injury. I've had it for 8 years they said, but it's just now showin up. they told me what to do to heal it. but when I asked my doc how long it would take to heal he never gave me a straight answer. should i be worried? how long till it heals?      |

| an articulated cruciate ligament injury usually needs surgery. what you have done is snapped some of the ligaments in your knee, if this occurred 8 years ago it will be a chronic ailment unless you have surgery.-blurey |
