What to do to recover a head injury?

i was mugged and those thieves hit me on the head once. How can i fully recover from a head punch. The hit was kinda hard. Hard enough to make me forget about my homework.

You should most likely see a doctor.
Otherwise put an ice pack on your head everyday after school for about 45 min.
Then if there is a bump, put some oinment on it to keep it from swelling more.
But spend most of your time laying down and get lots of sleep to prevent headaches. =)

You need to time to heal and sometimes a EEg will tell if there was any long term damage done. you can get therapy ot,speeck, and physical therapy
