mymystic2102 has a spectacular aura about
Brain vs. spinal cord injury?

Hi, I have to do a case study and I have to figure out if the patient has a brain injury or spinal cord injury. Is there one sign or symptom that would definately make it stand out as either brain or spinal cord injury?

Here are some details:
22 yr. old male did a foward flip in the water, striking some submerged rocks.
In a hyperflexed-tucked position, lacerating the right side of his head and neck and upper back.
Severe pain upon impace and loss of sensation and movement in arm and leg.
May have lost consciousness but not sure.
Severe headache, dizziness, and nausea.
Slightly lowered blood pressure (100/70)
Heart rate of 75 beats/min
Normal resperation, conscious and alert.

There are some test results also but I don't think I have room to list them. Thank you for any help!
Some test results:
Decreased sensation to touch, pressure, and vibration in right upper/lower extremities
Decreased temperature discrimination in left upper/lower "
Decreased strength & movement of right upper/lower "
Decreased strength/movement of L abdominal muscles
Constriction of pupil of right eye
Normal vital signs & cognitive testing
No skull fractures; fracture in 7th cervical vertebra
Sig. swelling in spianl canal in C7 - T2 region
