| Has anyone had an old injury from a broken nose fixed? What was it like ? I've always thought that my nose was odd. I was badly abused as an infant and a toddler. (from birth to 3 years). I've recently found out that my nose had been significantly smashed during that period, and the ENT Specialist (who confirmed this) said that is why I am having trouble breathing. I'm thinking about getting it fixed, firstly because of the breathing difficulties (not terrible, but still annoying), and for cosmetic reasons, it looks like it sits wrong on my face and I'm embarrassed about it. What are the consequences of facial surgery involving bone structure? Are infections or complications common ? Is it very painful? I'm kind of frightened about this.      |
