NIKE LaWSUIT BASKETBALL INJURY SHOES!?

okay this question is for people with knowledgeable exp. and possibly lawyers.
my husband brought some nike shok shoes to play basketball in. and he had a accident the other night where he was playing ball and his shoe cracked and broke while playing, he hurt his foot pretty bad and we took him to the emergengy room and it ended up being broken. we took a look at the x-ray on where the his bone was broken at and were the shoe was broken and it was in the same place. these shoes were suppose to be durable and able to be played in basketball. i want to know is there a possible lawsuit for the shoes or damage for his foot? i know i read about a couple of lawsuit nike had with the nike shock shoes. my husband is a basketball player and this is not the first time he has hurt his foot in nike's shoes. so anybody with expertise in this field could help me,? it would be nice if you can direct me to the types of lawyers that deals with these types of cases also thanks
