How did Yao's injury go unnoticed?

I mean stress fracture happens after long period of time, so why did the Rockets' medical stuff didn't realize this when they do their weekly examnation? I mean with the injury last year with Yao, they had to at least check on stuff like this? I say fire all of those lazy ass bastard, and bring in the Suns' medical stuff, cuz Shaq says they are the best.
