fingernail injury?

I was helping my mom with the meat slicer.


I was slicing the onions, was to hard and got stuck I pushed it while the slicer was spinning and it cut half my finger nail half way. after washing it I see white bump under my nail and cut fingernail.

it hurt aLOT

im typing with one hand now

will cut fingernails grow back?? and when??

how long will this kind of injury recover fully?

OUCH! omg that must of been painful
i cut my fingernail before nand it started ro bleed but it grew back=]
it takes like about 2 weeks to start growing back

Yes, cut fingernails will grow back, as long as you didn't chop it below the cuticle. It should grow back in about 2 weeks, adn if you can't wait, go to a nail salon, and there is a special covering that they can put over the nail, which aids in healing, and keeps the bacteria adn gunk out of the cut. Then, once the fingernail grows out, the patch they put on your finger can be cut off with a pair of fingernail clippers
