Knee injury?

if i tore, or in any other way injured a ligiment, a little over two years ago and never did anything to heel it, would I still be in extreme pain now? i injured my knee playing hockey and idk what is wrong with it. my mom wont take me to the doctor so i have no idea what is wrong with and therefore idk what to do to stop the pain.
it did hurt a lot when it happened but i was the only girl on an all boys team and i had to tough it out. i didn't want the guys to look at me like the wimpy girl who can't take a hit i know it was the wrong thing to do, i reget not making bigger deal out of it and getting it checked out i have just never been into the whole drama thing and like i said i didn't want to be looked at like the girl who can't take a hit. people asked if i was ok and i just said yah, i cried when i was at home when no when could see me. in 11 years of playing hockey there was twice that i left a game because i was injured and that was not one of them although it should have been, i should have left the game and got my knee checked out.
my whole knee hurts, on the inside and the outside, there is no one spot that specifically point at thathurts.
