military injury, denied job?

Well i injuried my back in the army 2 years ago, and i recently got a medical discharge for it. I got a job offer and i had to take a pre-employment physical and a arcon (lift test) which i passed both with no problem. Passed with a 100%. On my applicatin i told them i had a back injury along time ago, but when they got my results for the lift test, they denied my job offer. Im fully recovered and have no signs of my back injury. So now what?

Clayton, they have their reasons for not hiring you and if something happened to you on the job and you had another injury, you could cost their company and business buckoo bucks through their mandatory insurance. My wife is disabled and she went through Dept of Vocational Rehab for people with Disabilities and they help you retrain for a job that you are suited for. Since they had you do a lift test, I am assuming there is a lot of physical work in this job. In that case, the company may feel you are a poor risk for injury and workmen's comp claims because of the previous injury and that may be enough to eliminate you from the list of prospectives. I would contact the company and ask for a letter stating why you were denied the job. I would also contact the VA and start the process of getting a disability rating.
