| personal Injury question? About a year ago, I was shot by a homeowner in his home, while he was displaying his firearms. While he was checking the chamber the gun fired hitting me in the leg. The bullet passed through my femur, shattering it. After ER visit, and surgery(nail and pens) I was in hospital for 3 days. I was on crutches for 3 months, cane for another 2. Physical therapy was performed for the first 3 months, now the doctor prescribed another 3 months. I have been left with a 3/4 inch discrepancy in my leg. Medical bills have reached 50,000 and all these co-pays are beginning to hurt me financially. I am not looking to get rich from this horrible situation, but I also believe I am entitled to some compensation. Any suggestions on how much I should demand from homeowners policy?      |
