Emmy has a spectacular aura about
tailbone injury?!?

this morning, i was rushing out of the house. I slipped on the ice on my walkway and fell right on my tailbone. I am having trouble walking, sitting, i cant run, i cannot lie on my stomach without it hurting. Bending over, and going up the stairs are two nearly impossible tasks. I know that no matter the outcome, there isnt much that can be done to help...but does anyone know what might have happened and what i can do to ease the pain..?

Hitting your tailbone can really hurt. I don't know if a doctor can do anything for it but you might want to have it checked out if it isn't better in the next day or two. Take some ibuprofen.

That is a gigantic bummer! Tailbones hurt like hell. The tailbone has been pushed inwards, and it is loaded with nerves as you're finding out. Talk to a chiroprator as soon as you can. That's the cheapest thing to do - and sometimes they can pop something out fairly quickly. Good luck with that - you do not want to have that injury hanging around - you want to get clear of it and get that tailbone back where it's supposed to be!

You may have cracked it - in the morning, if you have a bruise up your back bone, I would say its a good bet. I did the same thing last winter, only I passed out and threw up when I awoke. It took me the better part of two weeks to walk normal again. oh so sore. Take some ibuprofen, it does help.
