Back Injury?

Well i was at a concert on sunday and while i was there i was hit in the lower back by a hardcore dancer and after i got hit it felt like pins and needles where my kidneys would be but when i looked at the bruise i saw it was more towards the spine on my lower back.

just wondering what it may be, i looked up slipped/herniated discs and i dont have numbness continuing into my extremedies, just a little numbness in my lower back, im assuming just put ice packs and sit in the hot tub and let it work itself out but just asking for other opinions.
