| knee injury causes a sharp pain when my knee is touch softly on the surface of... ...the skin.? I know this question has been answered, (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aqjz.YdGc_int5C0YaqKp14jzKIX;_ylv=3?qid =20070104124330AA4kGOc) but my question is, what if it is left untreat for years? My symptoms are the same but i injured it 6-7 yrs ago, when i was a kid. I want to know what will happen if it is left intreated? Thanks.      |

| If the symptoms have remained the same for 6-7 years, I think its safe to figure they aren't going to go away on their own anytime soon. It seems likely it will be just one of those annoying things you will have to adjust to & live with.. Artthritis may become a problem later. I would suggest seeing an orthopedist for exam, assessment & treatment recommendations..Look at it as in investment in your future health & well-being.. |
