is it ok to play basketball with an back injury?

I have a herniated disc in my back for about 6 months now.Im doing therapy.I wanted to know if it would be ok if i play in certain kind of basketball games,not no full courts though.I mean games such as 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 or 21,something like that.I wouldnt try to play a full court.I will also wear a back brace.

Would it be ok if i do this cuz I wanna go to the park to play basketball?Can I risk making my injury worse by doing this
