You should see a neurologist about you'r back you could have disk problems which can be very serious, most disk problems won't show up on an x-ray, an MRI is the prefered method of being able to see whats going on regarding disks and spines

How would if I know I have a back injury or if I'm just out of alignment?

I have relatively new (about 2 months) pain in my lower back and my hips (more when I sit down than when I stand). I've been seeing a Chiropractor for a month & when I first saw her she said one of my legs was 1/4 inch shorter than the other & she "fixed" it. But she said I continue to not allow it to heal because I work out once a day, sometimes twice. How would if I know I have a back injury or if I'm just out of alignment?

Thanks!
