wrist injury.. HHEELLLLLLP!?

At football practce last monday night, I was playing in my usual position as goalie and while making a save, the ball hit my hand wrong and probably bent if in the same direction that my fingers curl. Imediately following this, I went to the emergency room at the local hospital where I was in a lot of pain. The doctor took x-rays and determined that it was not broken. The pain is more so in twisting my wrist than anything, but by moving it anyways, I experience a sharp pain between the base of my hand and about 2-3 inches down on mostly the top, but also the bottom of the wrist. My fingers are badly swollen, as is my wrist though not as much.It hurts terribly to twist it so my palm would face me.

When the doctor seen my wrist all he did was ask if it hurt pretty bad, I said of course, than he x-rayed, and sent me home after saying it wasn't broken.I have sprained my wrist before and never has it been like this. Should I see another doctor? and what else would u suggest... ?
