help to resolve Injury? Five years ago had a lifting accident on the job I hurt my neck bad enough to have surgery. 6 months after the surgery the hardware broke,and the dr. said that it wasnt a big deal. Just recently I had a second surgery in nov.this yearI To remove the old hardware and put in new because of paralluses I have hired an attorney,but because I turned down a settlement near the end of the 5th year The attorney told me he could not help me anymore To this date no medical bills have been paid.Im at a loss as what I should do if I can do anything

This sounds like a workmans comp case, laws vary from state to state, and the statute of limitations is usually 1-2 years to file a claim. If you filed a claim with WC then talk to your case worker. If you did not file a WC claim, why?! Go see an atty who deals strictly with WC. Their fees are set by state law, and they will take you on contingency.
