Can faith heal injuries that doctors immediately say you need surgery for??? I've had knee sprains. when i go to the orthopedic,,, they dont even say lets' try to heal you naturally. they immediately suggest surgery. Well guess what....i got healed after 1 year of suffering( i thought i was not going to walk ever again now i'm even jogging)... and to think that the orthopedic dr just wanted me to get surgeried. So if a dr tells me about surgery.. should i necessarily follow his advice without even trying to heal myself?

Ha ha ha ha, LOL @ "surgeried"!!! Sorry. I do believe faith can heal but I also believe we have modern medicine for a reason. If you believe God created everything, He would have created science and intelligence which would have led to the creation of modern medicine. If I were to hold back on the surgery my 6 year old is having on Monday simply because I thought faith would make her better, I would be arrested for child endangerment.

Hate to bring it to you but knees work pretty much like a car's suspension system : they wear out after a certain millage. Ok, your knee doesn't hurt. Problem is, the orthopedic never said it couldn't heal on its own, he meant you SHOULDN'T let it heal on its own. It probably didn't heal as right as you think. You'll be fine for a few years, but you probably just damaged your bones and cartilage by having it "heal" naturally. It's in the nature of a broken bone or torn tendon to heal on its own, but you need the surgery for it to heal right. Faith has nothing to do with natural healing. If you were in a coma, you would still heal. But, if I were you, I'd take another appointment with my orthopedist and get a few radios of that knee to see just how well it "miraculously" healed.
