| Cheerleading knee injury? Recently whilst stunting, my base let go of my foot I fell from quite a distance and landed on my left knee. It bruised and turned red almost immeadiately on and around my knee cap and I put an ice pack on it and left it on til the swelling went down. I was limping on it at first and I rested for a few days. Its been about 3 weeks now and although the bruising and swelling has disappeared, it still hurts when I kneel on it or press down on it or run for a long periods. I'm worried I may have actually knocked my kneecap of fractured it or something. I'm also thinking that I may have thrown myself back into running, jumping and stunting before I'd let it fully heal. Should I see a doctor? |
