MissUnderstood has a spectacular aura about
Can you get scoliosis from a gym injury?

So at school we have to do vault (but like a foam one, not the proper ones for the Olympics or anything). And I'm really bad at it and once when I was trying to jump over it, I fell badly and I think I heard my lower back make a cracking or snapping noise as I fell. And afterwards, it sort of hurt, but it wasn't like total agony (I could still move and bend and stuff). That was about a week ago and my back doesn't really hurt anymore but sometimes if I trip over something this pain shoots up my back. I don't know.

Well I realised when I looked from behind in a mirror that my back shape is disfigured now like... one hip protrudes really weirdly and my spine is kind of curved at the bottom (sor tof like a J shape but not quite as severe) and it looks like a picture of scoliosis.

Is it possible to get scoliosis from just that one time? Or does it mean I always had it but the fall made it worse or I just always had it or what?
