| wrist injury? i had my thumb bent back ext. far and am now unable to move thumb nor wrist. I have the symptoms: extreme pain, swelling, brusing nausea, immobile trickling sensation- fluid i think. I went to A&E 2 days later and saw an orthopeadic and found i had a small frcture in top of thumb but he was more worried about my tendons and gave me a sling and cast. he also stredded that if it got worse then to come back next day. well, it did and i went back but he was not a specialist orthopaedic dr and gave stronger painkillers and dismissed it sayin i was coming back in a few days for trauma clinic. i know its not right. Got any ideas on what i could have done? can i just say i meant splint not cast. sorry      |
