bevingan has a spectacular aura about
Are there specific foods to help in the recovery of a tendon (tibialis anterior)

injury? I've sustained a laceration to the tibialis anterior tendon in my foot. I've just been to sugery to have the tendon repaired and have now been put into a plastercast.
Are there any specific foods (such as ones high in iron etc) that I could eat to help in the recovery of this tendon?
My doctors have told me that it is OK to bear weight on the affect foot. Is it OK to bear weight on this foot since the tibialis anterior has a function to balance the leg and talus on the other tarsal bones? Therefore if I bear weight on this foot would I not affect the tibialis anterior?
