TheycallmeYao has a spectacular aura about
Ma dad said dat he used 2 wear ankle weights and he didnt have any injuries.Should I

get them or weight vests? My dad said when he was 5ft. 4in. he could jump on a 10ft. goal becuase he wore ankle weights. Yall may not believe that but I believe it and it's true. and I'm thinking of buying some, but other reviews say it's bad for the leg. But my dad also said that he never got any injuries and he had a lot of hops. So I'm also thinking of buying a weight vest but there's 2 things wrong with that. 1.)It's too expensive and 2.)I want 2 wear it in school but i don't want it to be noticable. I want weights too becuase I want to improve my hops in basketball so I can dunk and block shots. I'm about 6ft. now and plus people call me Yao Ming and I'm only in 8th grade. So I wanna mostly get a lot of hops to dunk and I don't know what weights to wear the whole day each day. So I need a lot of suggestions as possible.

in the interests of protecting your ankles, knees, and hips, do not get ankle weights. they throw off your balance and pull your joints all out of place. Think about it, your joints are not meant to have that extra weight on them. a weight vest would be a better option, but you need to be really careful because exercising hard with weights can lead to some nasty injuries. If you are wearing weights and roll your ankle, you will probably tear ligaments, as opposed to not wearing weights and just rolling your ankle. So you need to be very careful, and do not get ankle weights.
