| It may be your lower back. The numbing sensation may be what's called neuropathy. That usually stems from the nerve root of the lower back. Have you recently suffered a lower back injury from lifting something wrong? Chiropractic care can help but most likely you have a lower back strain. Put some ice on it 3 x/day then after 2 days apply heat to this area with a heating blanket or something. Ten minutes at a time. Take Ibuprofen 3-4 tablets 3 times a day and no more. Decrease this amount as things get better. Start doing light stretches by doing toe touches. Get a tennis ball and put it between you and a wall. Massage the area that hurts starting from the center of the pain and going outwards. That should resolve you leg issue in a few days. If not, get to a health care provider. |
