can workers comp insurance company ask for your medical records?

I got reinjured my low back at my job. workers comp is in the process of paying me the days missed from work and doctor's bill. My work hr is aware. Workers comp just needs my doctors medical records, do i have to give it to them legally?

my first injury was at a different job
