Will your insurance increase from a parking ticket?

Hi i got a parking ticket in Boston for parking in a No stand/No Parking spot and im curious if they will increase your insurance

Usally only on moving violations, like speeding, failure to yield, stuff like that... On this one here, wouldn't worry to much... U'r looking for ones like if they take points off your license or something, cuz when they go to renew your policy after the six month term, they will, or should run your MVR..

As far as I know only moving violations like speeding and wreckless driving will increase it, so no it shouldn't.

No, but don't use that as a reason for NOT paying parking tickets. If you accumulate enough, you'll get booted and you'll have to pay through the nose to get your car out of impound.

No. The tickets that count are moving violations. Parking tickets are not considered moving violations.

No. Insurance companies only care about moving violations, since these are the only incidents that could damage someone else's car, forcing the insurance company to pay.
