Got pulled over without insurance...?

This is a follow up to a previously asked question.

I got pulled over for a seatbelt ticket in Ohio. I did not provide proof of insurance. I was told by the officer to show proof of insurance when I pay the ticket. It also says on the ticket that if I do not provide proof of insurance I will lose my license.

So I came home and immediately ordered a policy. I got my cards in the mail today it says I'm covered from 3-14 to 9-14. I was pulled over on 3-14.

Do you think I will run into any problems here when I go to pay the ticket? It says I'm covered on the day I got pulled over but it also seems kind of fishy that my policy starts on the day I got pulled over.

Previously, I asked this same question because the time I ordered my policy was on the ID cards (the ones I printed from home). These ID cards clearly showed that my policy didn't start until after I got the ticket. But now the time is not listed and I'm hoping I'll be good to go.

What do you think?
My insurance expired without my knowledge... I didn't intentionally drive without it. State Farm sent me a letter which got thrown into a pile and was left unread. And because I used automatic debit from my checking account I didn't notice it had lapsed.

So save your guilt trips and useless comments...
