| Does the internet server keep record of the visited sites?
Do they have a list of all visited pages recorded for every costumer as we have in the history in our PC? Would they be able to tell where someone is surfing?

Yes. Every internet Service Provider keeps records of all of their customers internet activities. It is one of the ways the police find Internet Pedophiles and track them to their homes. Some would consider that an invasion of their privacy. If you are not engaged in Illegal activity I wouldn't be concerned. There are ways around it but it would be against the rules to elaborate further. It would involve some of those grey areas of the law regarding ways of accessing the web. (IS it really stealing if it was just sitting there open?)

EVERY server your PC connects through to get to a web page logs your IP and destination, so YES. And if the laws in the Euro-land system are changed to what some want, the internet providers will be legally required to store the addresses of everyone you send/receive email from and ALL web pages you visited in last 18 months to 3 yrs |
