Yes, you can, and you should report it. If it was through Instant Messaging, unfortunately, they can't trace the person. If it's through e-mail or anything else, they WILL trace that person.

If someone starts stalking you on the internet and sends to death/rape threats...can you report this to the police? And what can they do about it?

Yes you can report this to the police but you will need complete proof of it before you can report this or they will just turn the other way.

A good friend of mine that lives in Californa told me about some person that sent her death threats in an email. I toild her to Fwd that email and i will take care of it. AND I DID

I emailed that person back which had multiple email addresses "sigh" that was hard to do finding the right routed email from among all the false once that person had anyways, after i emailed that person back with a few Thoughts of my own, That person never did do it again and its been 3 months.

Its helps to have friends that can deal with that type of stuff
