Could Someone define internet Libel?

is it against the law to show or tell someone Something for further research without the consent of the Person who told/gave you the info to begin with?

if I show someone an E-mail so they can help Me research the info is that internet libel?

No. Did you publish a false statement of material fact about someone that would injure them in their reputation? That would be libel. However, if you are sharing private intimate details about someone (eg. sexual matters etc) without their consent, then that can be a privacy tort.
