| What is an "internet shrine"? I've noticed these sites called "shrines" where the site is dedicated to an anime, video game, etc. and usually has info and all of that stuff on the subject as well as a fan listing. Some have their own domain name while others seem to be on sites like geocities and such (though on less-known and better-looking sites than ones like geocities). What are they? Are they basically sites dedicated to whatever topic the creator likes or something of the sort?      |
