My internet explorer doesnt work but im sure its a simple error. HELP?

My internet explorer just sits there witha blank skreen (sp?!) I use AOL but it only has one router or motum that can be used only at one time. I need to find out whats wrong with my MSN or Internet Explorer. Do i have to reset the properties or what?
Im NOT using another program, and its like that weather or not i restart or not. its not frozen like it says all the links doesnt work

Try going to tools, internet options, connections, LAN settings, and check the box automatically detect settings.
This is usually what I do when that happens... if im understanding you right.
Oh and firefox is better, you should try it out.

AOL never worked for me think u need to get firefox or something different ....i hate AOL
