Is there anyway to connect an xbox to the internet without spending so much money...

...on the wireless reciever? I just want to know if there's a cheaper alternative. Right now, my console is about 30ft from my computer. I already have a wireless router for the computer. Is there an cheaper way to get it to the xbox.
