investing in gold?

I've been thinking about buying gold and keeping it in my safe, is there any benefit in the future if i do this? with the week dollar?

The time to buy gold has gone because of the highs a few weeks ago, it is risky because of the price volitility. If you look at the movement on a gold price chart you will be surprised. Don't buy gold now because there is too much speculation, I recomend waiting a few weeks or maybe months for the price to go below 800 or 700.

In my opinion, the time to buy gold has passed. It is near all-time highs and the dollar will strrengthen at some point. I would pass on purchasing gold.
