How bad do the Chinese hate the Japanese?

I know the Chinese hate the Japanese, but to what extent?

Is the level of hatred so that the Chinese would just shun them? want to beat them? k*ll the Japanese that visit China? Nuke Japan?

Not half as badly as the Koreans do.

I doubt it's anywhere near this extreme. China is a huge country, so you're going to have a wide variation in opinion. Most people probably don't care one way or the other; perhaps a few have strong racist or xenophobic opinions or reactions.

Its the government and maybe some people. All I know that Koreans and Japanese are ok now chinese and koreans are ok. Really asians dont like other asians from what I've seen. We need to get a long. Japan and Korea rock.

Those Chinese are just a moany bunch. Sure everyone was affected from the world wars but the chinese are just silly and immature about it. Do Japanese hate americans for bombing their Hiroshima & Nagasaki? No, the US and Japan are allies.

Japanese have apologised, given them tons of money, but they will never change their sour attitude and i don't think the younger generation of Japanese should be blamed for what happened to them over 50 years ago. Japanese also hate them as well so i guess it's even.

They don;t hate japanese as much now, like me, i love their anime and is fascinated by their language. some chinese even forgot about it, there are a lot of people living in japan and a lot of chinese learning japanese. only a few old people still hate the japanese. (yes back in the old days, chinese hate Japanese enough to beat them up but not now)

and cooldude, japanese people never apologized to the chinese, i am chinese and i know that. if they did, the chinese would surely forgive them. (All my relatives said that if the Japanese apologized, chinese and japanese may become with good friends/allies) some, and i mean SOME, even think that the war was completely the chinese's fault. Japan and U.S. are only allies because japanese think that the americans must be very strong to have been able to defeat them and that they are afraid that the americans might attack again if they are not careful so don't you go babbling on about chinese people having sour attitudes and stupid thoughts.

The Koreans hate the Japanese more then the Chinese do. And, Japanese hate the Chinese. During the war the Japanese used Korean women, as sex slaves, and would tattoo their genitals. I saw this on an old women at a mountain spring in Korea. My friend Soon Young Ann, explained a lot of this to me. I know China was under Japanese rule or you could debate that, and say there was just conflict and war once, but that hatred goes both ways.
