| Learning Spanish for medical professionals?
I did spend 5 years studying spanish through high school and college so I have some knowledge of the language. Unfortunately it has been 7 years since I've actually had to speak it. Now I'm in nursing school and have found patients who have no English knowledge. I think it would be nice to be able to speak with these patients.Where can I go to refresh my spanish and learn medical terms? I can't add in another course at school with my nursing schedule. Maybe a computer program or website that I could access during my free time?

Check the community college for non-credit courses. Some of these courses meet only a few times and require no outside work. Perhaps they have one specifically for people in the medical field. You can also buy books and sets that can refresh your memory. Like this http://www.amazon.com/Speak-Week-Hear-Learn-Spanish/dp/1591253195/ref=pd_bbs_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1214027200&sr=8-1 or http://www.amazon.com/Learn-Spanish-Complete-Language-Course/dp/1591257336/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1214027200&sr=8-2
