Why do most Japanese male heroes look like women in video games?

e.g videos games final fantasy , resident evil and the newest anime game with the guy with the sword

THey have delicate features with big eye, big eye lashes , thin hair , small nose, big lips. iam confused whether iam playing a girl or boy.
