Foul language?

Are people just not offended by this anymore? It seems you can't go anywhere without hearing people cursing. In grocery stores, at the park, on TV. It's getting pretty pathetic when people cannot find any other way to express what they're thinking other than to lower themselves to talking trash and gutter talk. Are there still people out there who find this offensive, and what is a good way to ask people to watch their language?
I think it is disrespectful and rude to cuss in public, and very unproffesional at the workplace. I understand that people will let it slip occasionally but once I was sitting in my van in a parking lot and seriously this guy who was standing next to my vehicle talking was using the eff word like three times per sentence! He wasn't mad, that was his normal speech! And actually most people do not get mad when asked to stop because most do realize it is offensive.
